They started over 25 years ago at the Punkin Center Store in... Punkin Center, AZ.  The store had a bar in it at the time.  Anyway, they were campin' and fishin' at Roosevelt lake and decided to head into the metropolis of Punkin Center for a beer.

    When they arrived, the bar keep recognized George and asked if they had guitars with 'em.  They did and hardly go any place without 'em.  So out to their Jeep, grabbed their guitars, came back in, sat on some stools and commenced to pickin' and grinnin'. 

    There were 7 or 8 folks in the bar when they started.  The bartender told 'em they could drink beer for free... as long as they played.  What an invite!  So, they played songs they normally played as Mogollon, sang songs they wrote about the area, fishin', campin', and more.

    They played fiddles, told jokes, laughed and had a blast!  By the time the Hamm's Beer clock said it was closing time, the place was standing room only!  Folks were dancin', singin' along and havin' a good 'ol small town good time. 

    Since then, George and Duane booked over a dozen shows a year as the G-D RoadShow.

    So make plans to see them, it's a hoot!!
